Annual Jehovah's Witness convention draws thousands from across Southeast

The Jehovah’s Witnesses of the Atlanta metro area held their first of three weekends during their annual Regional Convention this past weekend.

They are holding two of those weekends at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park for the first time.

More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the three separate weekends held this summer to discuss a world-wide unified theme that embodies their faith.

Leaders said they expect people from around the Southeast to attend.

The convention continues this weekend at the Georgia International Convention Center before heading to Duluth the weekend of the Fourth of July.
